Triple-shared, per personMMU Cyberjaya on-campus hostel - triple sharing
Cyberjaya and Putrajaya are planned towns south of Kuala Lumpur. The MRT Putrajaya line and the KLIA Transit train both stop here, so the city and the airport are within reach. MMU is in Cyberjaya and Heriot-Watt Malaysia is in Putrajaya. Xiamen University Malaysia is further south in Sepang, closer to the airport.
Halal food and mosques
Putrajaya is Malaysia's federal administrative centre and is home to large mosques, including Masjid Putra. Halal food is the norm in both towns.
Before you book
Prices here range from shared rooms in MMU's on-campus hostel to studios near Heriot-Watt. Heriot-Watt's residence adds a tourism tax of RM 300 a month for foreign residents, so ask whether it applies to any room you are offered. The UNITEN residence prices are per semester, not per month.
