Disclaimer

Costs on Career Gliders are approximate and dated, exchange rates are indicative, and admission, visas and scholarships are never guaranteed.

In short: we check our information against official sources and show when each fact was last checked. But universities and governments change their fees and rules, so treat every cost as an estimate and confirm it before you pay. We never guarantee admission, a visa or a scholarship.

Costs are approximate and dated

  • Every fee and cost on this site is marked as approximate, with the date we last checked it against its source.
  • Universities can change tuition, application fees and entry requirements at any time, often once a year.
  • Visa, medical and insurance fees are set by EMGS and other bodies and can change.
  • Accommodation and living costs depend on the area, the room and your lifestyle. Our figures are typical ranges, not quotes.
  • Flight prices are indicative only.

Before you pay anything, confirm the current amount with the university or official body. Your counsellor will help you do this.

Exchange rates are indicative

We show costs in US dollars and Malaysian ringgit, and you can switch to other currencies, such as Pakistani rupees. Rates are updated daily from a public source, and the date of the rate is shown. Your bank's rate and charges on the day you pay will differ.

No guarantees

  • Admission is decided by each university.
  • Student visas are decided by EMGS and the Malaysian immigration authorities.
  • Scholarships are decided by the bodies that award them.
  • Credit transfer is decided by the university you transfer to.
  • Recognition of a degree in your home country or elsewhere is decided by that country's authority (in Pakistan, for example, the Higher Education Commission).

We assess your profile honestly and recommend options you can realistically reach. Anyone who promises a guaranteed admission or visa is not telling you the truth.

Information, not legal or financial advice

The guides on this site are general information to help you plan. They are not legal, immigration or financial advice for your situation. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, ask the official body or a qualified adviser.

The AI pathway assistant

The assistant can make mistakes. Its plans are a starting point, and a counsellor reviews every one. See How we use AI.

Universities and other websites

When we name a university, we are describing it so you can compare options; it does not mean the university endorses us unless we say it is a partner. University names and logos belong to the universities. We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
