Getting around
Subang Jaya and Bandar Sunway are west of Kuala Lumpur. Sunway University and Monash University Malaysia are next to each other in Bandar Sunway, and Taylor's Lakeside Campus is nearby in Subang Jaya. The BRT Sunway Line, the LRT Kelana Jaya line and the KTM Komuter all serve the area, so the city centre is reachable without a car.
Halal food and mosques
Halal food is easy to find around all three campuses, in food courts, shopping centres and restaurants. Subang Jaya has several mosques, and the campuses have prayer rooms.
Before you book
Each university runs or lists its own residences, and their prices differ a lot: compare like with like (shared or single, en-suite or not). Sunway's newest official room rates date from June 2023, so expect current prices to be higher.
